McCain / Palin Pulls Ahead in Swing States
With the race narrowed down to a handful of states McCain has jumped ahead in almost all of these swing states.
The lsit of Swing States as of today:
Colorado, Nevada, Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida, Michigan, Montana, and Missouri. McCain now leads in all swing states based on average of recent polling (last 3 days). This is a huge swing and if McCain holds these key states it will be a landslide for McCain and as such something we haven’t seen in years.
The Palin pick has excited the independents and conservatives alike. This along with several missteps by Obama and the media has the McCain / Palin team in the driver’s seat and Obama back on his heels.
The next few weeks as the remaining 5 - 6% of undecideds choose will determine the race. IF these fall 50/50 McCain is the next president of the United States of America.
Folks, it is going to be exciting, stay tuned!
McCain/Palin Jump into Polling Lead
Today it looks like the Palin and McCain
bounce is fully coming into light as the Republican team jump into the lead on most major polls. Zogby has the McCain team up by a huge 4% points. Rasmussen has them tied with McCain/Palin surging. Other reputable pollsters are showing them tied or McCain with the lead.
The interesting thing about polls is that they lean left before the voting and then Republicans traditionally receive 2 - 3% higher when the actual votes are counted.
So this could be a large mountain for Obama/Biden to climb. It sure makes me ask, did Barack make the wrong decision by choosing Biden? We know he was trying to get the national security problem that he had covered, but the polls at this time makes one think that Obama picked his friends wrong once again.

CBS Poll: Presidential Race Tied
The convention floor was abuzz all yesterday with the news of the CBS poll showing a dead tie (42-42) in the presidential race. And the poll, conducted through Wednesday, couldn’t reflect the impact of John McCain’s speech, or the full impact of Sarah Palin’s late Wednesday night.
It reflected opinions only after the Democrats’ convention, Barack Obama’s incredible speech, the Palin selection, and the early, Gustav-depressed GOP gathering. Read more
